Overview
The SLRD is in receipt of a zoning amendment (rezoning) application for a 2.5ha portion of DL2247 on the west side of the Highway from WedgeWoods Estates.
This application is to enable the future subdivision and development of four new lots. Three of these lots are proposed as market residential and will house a total of 12 dwelling units in the form of 6 duplex buildings. The fourth lot will house the common septic field and a backup common septic field.
Additional community benefits are proposed, including financial contributions to affordable housing, development contributions to support transit access, as well as donation of the remainder lands to the SLRD.

Current Status
Staff will be requesting third reading of the Zoning Amendment Bylaw associated with this proposal at the April 22, 2026 Board Meeting.
