Overview
The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) received a zoning and Official Community Plan (OCP) amendment application for 128 Lorne Street in Bralorne, BC. The application is to permit the Bralorne Adventure Lodge to operate commercial lodging including up to 5 rooms in the existing lodge, up to 6 standalone cabins, and a new common facilities building including a garage, accessory dwelling unit for a caretaker, and common washroom facilities.
If approved, the property would be rezoned from Rural Resource 2 (RR2) to a site-specific Tourist Commercial zone. The OCP designation would be amended from Residential and Resource Management to Commercial.
The proposed new cabin and common facilities building development would be limited to an area of the parcel that is outside of Riparian Assessment Areas and may be serviced by SLRD-managed water and sewer systems, as shown below.
