Please be advised that Highway 99 (Duffey Lake Road) will be CLOSED in both directions at the Canal Bridge 3 km south of Lillooet to enable crews to perform needed bridge maintenance. The bridge will be CLOSED for maintenance as follows:
- Monday, January 23: CLOSED from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, January 24: CLOSED from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- **CANCELLED**
Wednesday, January 25: CLOSED from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Unfortunately, there are no detours available. However, emergency vehicles will be accommodated within 5 minutes of arrival.
As well, effective immediately, there are load restrictions in place on the Canal Bridge. Light traffic and small passenger vehicles only - No commercial vehicles, no heavy trucks. These load restrictions will be in place until Thursday, January 26, 2017.
